‘Facilitating the excellence in others, is the Key to unlocking our own’

It’s such a simple sentence, a little thing—a dozen words that changed so much.

When I came back from my hiatus, three long years of no writing, I knew enough to realize I had no idea what I was doing. I found a man who did—a man who crafted this philosophy and then through sheer determination and stubbornness, coaxed all the rest of us to follow along.

What began as a writers group has morphed—we moved from our original home to a message board where friendships began to evolve. Several jumps and a name change later and we had a social site—Key Publications Network—a bi-monthly e-zine featuring author interviews and podcasts.

It was just the beginning. But despite our changes, through our journey that has led to Key Pub opening its doors, we have clung to the one thing that never changes: the philosophy that helping each other helps yourself.

Now the publishing branch has opened—Key Publications—and I am both thrilled and honored to be a part of this.
